Those of you with kids (or those of you who ARE kids) might want to check out the
Free Family Film Festival at various
Regal Cinemas locations around the US this summer. Over nine weeks between June and August, Regal shows an assortment of G- and PG-rated movies each Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 AM. Theaters are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and it's totally free. There have been a TON of book-based kid movies made this year, and this is a great opportunity to see them on the big screen and at a truly excellent price--everything from
City of Ember to
Horton Hears A Who to
Kit Kittredge: American Girl.
