Since Jennifer's Body tanked at the box office, Diablo Cody has apparently decided to inflict her (highly questionable) talent for creating teen-girl dialogue on a very different style of story: she's been tapped to produce and direct a new adaptation of the Sweet Valley High books.I have a cold right now, so my head's a little swimmy... but I find this news totally hilarious.

Hey, you never know. Before The Lord of The Rings, Peter Jackson's greatest legacy was terrible horror movies and Meet The Feebles... and he did quite well with the first and most of the third TLoTR. (The second movie and parts of the third movie, well...)
