While there are many people out there who collect alphabet books I am not really one of them... but I do collect books with great typography. I stumbled upon Bembo's Zoo while once again working on a post about great book covers (I promise, I will post that soon). In every typography class that I have ever taken, we have had to create an image out of the letters of a word. Some times, like these, we just created a literal image. Other times we would take a work like "time" and then have to show the concept. It sounds easy but it's really so much harder then you'd think. Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich does an amazing job.
